Are you a competitive, results-driven professional who loves closing sales and values building strong customer relationships? Tim Johnson State Farm is seeking an Account Associate who will play a key role in growing the agency through proactive sales efforts while delivering an exceptional customer experience to our existing clients.

This is a fully licensed position (Property & Casualty and Life & Health required). If you are not yet licensed, you must be willing to obtain the necessary licenses—with full support and paid training provided.

Role Overview

As an Account Associate, you will grow the agency by engaging new prospects, recommending insurance solutions, and servicing policies for current customers. The ideal candidate is ambitious, outgoing, and customer-focused, with a strong desire to generate revenue while maintaining long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Growth – Proactively market and sell insurance products to both new leads and existing customers.

  • Service Existing Clients – Handle policy updates, billing questions, and coverage inquiries with professionalism and care.

  • Retain and Grow Accounts – Conduct policy reviews and identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products.

  • Process Requests – Assist with policy issuance, changes, and claims follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain Accurate Records – Update customer information and document all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Sales-focused mindset with a strong desire to meet and exceed targets.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

  • Previous insurance, sales, or client service experience preferred.

  • Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health (or willingness to obtain with agency support).
